Bihar College of Education, an initiative by Leelawati Devi Educational Trust. The Institute was set-up in year 2014 to provide the best of education to the would-be teachers of our country.
The college aims to uplift the standard of education because only education can bring the concept of mankind in country which is dire need of today. Teaching institutions throughout the country are facing the problem of indiscipline and non-loyalty towards profession. So, to make the teachers disciplined and inoculcate self-confidence in them are the chief motives of our college.

Teacher Training education of teacher means, education of teachers before they enter into service as teacher. During this period of teacher education programmes, teaching practice goes side by side, while they are getting knowledge about theory papers.
B.Ed or Bachelor of Education is a 2 year professional course that is done after graduation to work as a teacher in schools. According to the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) it is mandatory for all teachers to have a B.Ed degree.
D.El. Ed. is Diploma in Elementary Education. D. El. Ed is a 2-year diploma course focused on primary teachers training. D. El. Ed provides training to the would-be teachers to teach students in the primary/upper primary school, aged between 6-15 years/class I to VIII.
NCTE is the Apex body which deals with teachers training education programmes. BRABU and BSEB awards B. Ed. degree and Diploma certificate respectively.
